Sugar land

Sugar land

Little rabbits hop around,
padding their little paws on the
sugar.

It sounds like someone
is eating a crunchie
behind me.

I can taste
sugar and glitter,
like I am a baby
eating glitter
and play dough.
Yuck.

But it felt like I
was in a dream.
It felt like it wasn't real.

The music from the
party nearly made me
deaf.

The party food was
so yum because
it was all made of
Sugar.
It tastes so good.

Sugary mountains
drop sugar
on to me.
It looks like a
rainbow above.

I felt a big fluffy ball
beside me.
It made me warm
and  cosy inside
and that reminded me
that I had nowhere
to sleep

So I said to myself
I think I should sleep here
because it was warm
and cosy.

In this poem I have been learning to write a similes and metaphors.

My poem is currently multistructural because I can write several similes or metaphors (but they don't quite create the feeling I want).
